Sleep Cycle, the world’s most popular sleep tracking application, has been named Google Play’s 2021 Best for Wear.

Sleep Cycle has recruited Cecilia Mikkov to the position as Chief Human Resources Officer (“CHRO”) and member of the executive management team, starting in December. Cecilia has extensive leadership experience including responsibility for e.g. staff, recruitments and organizational development in Swedish and International organizations. Cecilia has a degree in human resources management and most recently held a position within HR Center of Excellence with NetEnt.

Net sales increased 20,9% to SEK 48.8m during the third quarter, corresponding to a 30.0% currency adjusted growth rate. The increase was driven by subscription growth of 13.0%, fueled by high efficiency in marketing spending and income related to a partnership that was entered into together with Samsung. During the second quarter the number of subscribers continued to grow to a total of 852k, an increase of 14.5%. Net revenues increased by 12.5%, corresponding to 20.3% adjusted currency. Growth was driven by high renewal rates, effective investment in marketing and new growth initiatives such as B2B sales and partnership programs. Increased spend on marketing, a growing organization and the stock exchange listing contributed to a planned increase in costs and therefore a decline in net income for this quarter.
